Verdictums started with the material that general-purpose AI quietly gets wrong: the faded scan, the handwritten margin note, the three-hour bodycam file. We build for the one setting where a wrong answer isn't a minor bug, which is a courtroom.
The company
Verdictums was founded in Singapore in 2026 by Charles Armin. We are an early-stage, founder-led company building one product: an evidence-processing engine that legal and public-sector platforms can embed in their own software.
The gap we set out to close is fairly specific. Most AI APIs are probabilistic and opaque. They give a different answer on Tuesday than they did on Monday, they can't tell you where a claim came from, and they keep no record of what touched a file. None of that survives cross-examination. Our engine is designed the other way round: pinned model versions so outputs are reproducible, a hash-chained custody log for every operation, and a citation attached to every finding.
We don't sell to law firms or agencies directly. The engine is licensed to the platforms they already use, such as e-discovery suites, public safety records systems, and FOIA processing tools, and those partners ship it under their own brand through our API.

Where we are today
We are at the stage where the engine is being tested on real material with prospective platform partners through our seven-day pilot. Each pilot runs the engine against the document-AI services a partner already uses, on data the partner chooses, and produces a scored comparison. We think that's a fairer way to earn a licensing conversation than a slide deck.
Our near-term focus is straightforward: harden the two pipelines on the ugliest evidence our pilot partners can find, keep the findings schema stable so integrations don't break, and get the first white-label deployments into production.
The founder
Charles Armin founded Verdictums on a simple idea: software that touches evidence should be held to the same standard as the evidence itself. Every part of the engine, from the redaction pipeline to the audit log, is designed backward from the question a judge will eventually ask, which is “How do you know?”
